There is no form of words - even if describing the horror these pictures reveal - that could have elicited the kind of response felt when looking at them and the political shift that will follow. A photograph speaks to all of us regardless of culture or spoken language. There is a synchronicity between the nature of a still image and the way in which we remember events.

Few words are able to describe the evil that goes on behind closed doors, and it is nothing less than grace when that evil is exposed. A video has recently been circulating documenting the grotesque story of a West Philadelphia abortion clinic, a case that certainly is difficult to stomach. Yet, it is a reminder of the unspeakable horror of abortion.

Partial-Birth abortions seemed to be so horrible that most of us wondered how such procedures could be defended. Many of us chalked it up to the fact that the pro-abortion advocates and the abortion industry didn't want to give one inch for fear that their whole house of cards will fold.
