Mother Teresa: Roe v. Wade ‘has deformed a great nation’

by John Jalsevac

In 1994 Mother Teresa filed an amicus curiae brief before the U.S. Supreme Court in the cases of Loce v. New Jersey and Krail et al. v. New Jersey. In that brief the famous humanitarian and Catholic saint argued on behalf of the unborn in a way that is remarkably poetic and poignant. Not only does she plead for the rights of the unborn, but powerfully points out the various ways that abortion, ushered in by Roe v. Wade, has coarsened the life of the nation, sowing violence and discord. Her brief remains compelling reading.

5 reasons why abortion is the worst social injustice. ever.

by Andy Moore

I guarantee you – were he alive today, the visionary George Washington would be striving with us to end abortion. In fact he’d probably be on the board of Live Action. The following are five of the key reasons why I believe our Nation’s first President would stand with us.

The Kermit Gosnell Trial – 2013

Highlights Concerning the Kermit Gosnell Trial:

LifeNews has compiled a list of the ten most horrific revelations to emerge from the trial — many of which have gone unreported.

Warning: The eye-witness testimony below is nauseatingly graphic and deeply upsetting:

1)  A young woman who worked at Kermit Gosnell’s abortion clinic as a teenager testified that she saw a baby’s chest move even after the gruesome snipping procedure Gosnell used to end the baby’s life. “The chest was moving,” she testified. The baby was so large that another worker even took a cellphone picture of it. Prosecution experts, based on the picture, say the baby was well past 24 weeks, the legal limit for abortion in Pennsylvania.

Video Shows Tenth Planned Parenthood Abortion Center Hiding Sexual Abuse

New undercover video footage shows the tenth Planned Parenthood abortion center across the nation engaged in covering up a potential case of sexual abuse of a minor. The video shows staff at a Wisconsin facility counseling a purportedly 14-year-old girl to not divulge how a 31-year-old man impregnated her.

The video also shows Planned Parenthood staff coaching the girl on how to obtain an abortion without her parent’s consent — in violation of Wisconsin state law.

One More Time: Obamacare Funds Abortions. Here’s Proof

In recent weeks there have been reports about an abortion surcharge contained within President Obama’s signature healthcare law. Pro-abortion activists have been desperate to shove the issue under the carpet. They know full well public outrage will ensue if the law’s hidden agenda is fully exposed to the American people in broad daylight.

Many pro-abortion bloggers and members of the media have tried to hide the reality of the “abortion premium mandate”—a provision actually contained within Obamacare. But it’s imperative that you fully understand the facts they’re trying to hide.

Marketing Abortion

“We had a whole plan to sell abortions called, ‘Sex Education’:  Break down their natural modesty, separate them from their parents and their values, and become the sex expert in their lives; so they’d turn to us and we’d give them a low-dose birth control that they’d get pregnant on; or a defective condom, because we didn’t buy the most expensive condoms, we bought the cheapest condoms.  Our goal was 3-5 abortions from every girl between the ages of 13-18.”

The Scathing Speech…

Ten Congressmen took to the floor of the U.S. House on Thursday to shed some light on the trial of Kermit Gosnell, an abortionist who stands accused of murdering seven newborn infants (allegedly cutting their spines with scissors) and one grown woman.

Among the 10 U.S. lawmakers was Rep. Chris Smith, a New Jersey Republican who says the media has intentionally ignored Gosnell’s “house of horrors.”

And here’s Rep. Smith’s complete speech [h/t LSN]:

Will the decades-long major national news media cover-up of the brutality—and violence—of abortion methods ever end?

We Are Kermit Gosnell

by Justin Donathan

The details of the trial of abortionist and infanticidist Kermit Gosnell have been haunting me, and I’m sure many of you, for some days now.  What this man did, and how he got away with it are so difficult to process on so many levels.  I’ve felt anger, sadness, desperation, horror, and more reading the testimony and editorials.  And then there are all the issues with the trial itself.  The deafening silence of the major news media outlets.  The empty reserved press seating at the courtroom.  The silence of our political officials.  The negligence of “oversight” agencies and the failure of individuals and institutions who knew what was taking place in Gosnell’s “house of horrors” to speak up.  But none of that is what I want to talk about here.  That’s all been discussed at length, and no doubt will continue to be.  I link to some of the better examples of those discussions at the bottom of this post.

Pretty Ugly – Exposing Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood’s Deception of the American Public

The secret to Planned Parenthood’s success is just that: a secret. And for good reason. If people knew that this billion-dollar international corporation profited from promoting risky sexual behavior to young people, enforcing abortion quotas to increase profits, putting women’s health at risk, and wasting and abusing taxpayer dollars, Planned Parenthood would be bankrupt. Sadly, it is anything but.

Nearly a million babies were aborted at its facilities over the last three years, which brought the corporation hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue. It also receives half a billion dollars in taxpayer funding a year.  And it is the largest and loudest advocate for abortion in our nation.

Dear mom with a prenatal Down syndrome diagnosis

I know how you feel.

Except — unlike you, I was holding my new baby, Kate, in my arms when I found out. She was wrapped in a blanket, looking up at me as I cried, listening to the Neonatologist on staff tell me — only minutes after she was born — that she had Down syndrome. And what that meant.

‘If I don’t protect them, I am nothing”: The man who discovered Down syndrome

The world was his oyster. Not only was he a young, handsome medical researcher passionate about improving human lives, but he was the first to make the genetic breakthrough that Down syndrome is caused by the presence of an extra 21st chromosome.

Fame, glory, and prestige were heaped upon him for his discovery. He was splashed across the front pages of national newspapers. He became an advisor to the president. He received the highest award in genetics. He shot to distinction as a scholar, teacher, and researcher.

But Dr. Jerome Lejeune of France was also a man of truth, committed to his principles.

The Impact of Abortion on Crime

A study conducted by a researcher at the University of Maryland shows that legalized abortion has led to higher rates of crime and increased murder rates. The occured because a higher percentage of children grew up in single-parent homes during the years following Roe v. Wade.

The findings have been published in the April 2007 issue of the academic journal Economic Inquiry and are part of a new book written by researcher John R. Lott.

According to Lott, the high court’s decision ultimately resulted in more out-of-wedlock births, a reduction in the number of children adopted and fewer married parents.

Abortion is America’s Holocaust

During the Nazi holocaust, Josef Mengele used concentration camp prisoners, including young children, as test subjects for a catalog of demented medical experiments. Documents uncovered by Allied forces revealed that, before they were killed, Mengele’s victims were subjected to pain on a scale that can only be described as unimaginable.
