Genetic Testing to Abort “Imperfect” Babies? Who are We to Judge?

by John Stonestreet

Imagine you and your spouse find out you’re expecting. Having experienced this moment a few times, I know there’s nothing quite like it. Your world changes, and within days, your child’s entire biography unfolds in your mind: her first steps, first words, kindergarten, little league, ballet, high school, college, and eventually a young adult who will make you insanely proud. It’s all so promising.

But for thousands of parents every year, that’s when the “bad news” comes.

Companies & Celebrities that Financially Support Abortion Giant Planned Planned Parenthood

Since Roe v Wade and estimated 57 Million Children were put to death in the United states alone.  This is designed to identify companies and celebrities that financially support Abortion Giant Planned Planned Parent Hood and other abortion clinics.  The inspiration for me doing this is to celebrate life not death.  Abortion is death!  This must end.

My goal is to STOP the funding of abortion by Businesses, the Government, and Celebrities.  By funding Planned parenthood they are glorifying the death of a child.  .

What Disturbs Me …

I recently received a reply to a Facebook post “Profiting from Late-Term Abortion and the Fierce Fight to Keep it Legal” stating:

“It disturbs me to see how people treat people these days.

It disturbs me to see how women treat other women.

It disturbs me to sit idly by and listen as politicians make regulations for a part of my body they should have no opinion of.”

I agree with the first two statements wholeheartedly; however, with all due respect, I could not disagree more with the third statement regarding the “part of her body” that politicians regulate. So in response, I’ve decided to voice what disturbs me.

The Economic Effect of Abortion: Billions and Billions Lost

As we all know, there are so many effects that abortion has on our society and the whole world. What seems to be overlooked is how abortion can hurt the economy. People make the mistake that abortion is solely a moral issue, and therefore cannot be related to the effects of the economy.

In the United States, we have a national debt nearing $16 trillion, which has surpassed the nation’s annual GDP. In other words, our federal government is spending beyond our means. Since abortion was legalized in 1973 by Roe v. Wade, over 50 million babies have died, with over 3,000 killed on a daily basis.

What Gosnell Hath Wrought: Why The Left is now Losing the Abortion Debate

The recent trial of Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell has led to a wave of new laws at the state level aimed at abortion. The sheer horror of what was uncovered in Gosnell’s clinic has caused plenty of legislators to take a closer look at how abortion clinics in their state are regulated and inspected and also how late those abortions are being performed.

As these new laws began to be debated and voted on in several states, the pro-abortion lobby geared up as usual, summoning the troops and their friends in the media to turn back any new attempts at abortion restrictions. They are a well-oiled machine by now, having turned back many such attempts at state-level restrictions in the past.

HHS Abortion Mandate

In recent weeks there have been reports about an abortion surcharge contained within President Obama’s signature healthcare law. Pro-abortion activists have been desperate to shove the issue under the carpet. They know full well public outrage will ensue if the law’s hidden agenda is fully exposed to the American people in broad daylight.

Many pro-abortion bloggers and members of the media have tried to hide the reality of the “abortion premium mandate”—a provision actually contained within Obamacare. But it’s imperative that you fully understand the facts they’re trying to hide.

The Truth: Who Profits from Late-term Abortions?

As the United States faces historic budgetary problems, there is one industry that is not only thriving, but continues to be bolstered by hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars.  Shockingly, that favored industry is none other than the abortion industry, and as always, the primary beneficiary of those taxpayer dollars is none other than Planned Parenthood.

In what has become a tragic annual occurrence, yesterday we were all again reminded of the gigantic and ever-growing abortion business that is Planned Parenthood.  This reminder came in the form of Planned Parenthood’s 2011-2012 Annual Report, in which the largest abortion provider in the world admitted to taking more than half a billion dollars in taxpayer funding and performing nearly 334,000 abortions during a timeframe in which prenatal services and adoption referrals were essentially non-existent.

Gosnell Abortion Clinic Worker Finds God and Becomes Pro-Life: ‘She Wants to Live a Christ-like Life’

Following a LifeNews.com report on Tuesday that a former Dr. Ketmit Gosnell clinic worker is now finding God and embracing pro-life sentiment, we reached out to pro-life activist Abby Johnson, who is working with her, to learn more.

As we previously reported, Johnson was once the director of a Planned Parenthood clinic in Texas. Today, her life has changed dramatically, as she is now one of America’s premiere anti-abortion voices. She runs a ministry called And Then There Were None, an organization that helps former clinic workers escape the industry and recover from the emotional toll it so often takes.

Unborn Babies Feel Pain Earlier, But at 20 Weeks It’s Excruciating

Defenders of late abortions try to argue that the unborn child at twenty weeks is not capable of feeling pain, claiming the connections in the fetal brain are not fully formed. Those who know something about fetal pain physiology, however, have solid medical evidence to believe that the child not only feels pain, but feels it more severely than an infant or an adult.

As you will read below, this is because this is a “uniquely vulnerable time, since the pain system is fully established, yet the higher level pain-modifying system has barely begun to develop,” according to Dr. Paul Ranalli, a neurologist from the University of Toronto.

Beating Abortion: Killing the Industry’s Lifeline

For decades, the fight against abortion has focused on protests, prayer, and elections. Now the strategy is to go after the lifeline of the abortion industry – its money and its workers. And the new strategy is getting results.

“Since 1992, two-thirds of the abortion clinics in America have shut down permanently,” Mark Crutcher, founder and president of Life Dynamics Inc., said.

Crutcher and his organization, headquartered in Denton, Texas, have been fighting hard against the abortion industry for the past three decades. In 1992, there were more than 2,100 clinics open. Today, there are fewer than 650.

Video: Medical Experts Confirm Unborn Children Feel Pain During Abortion

Three medical specialists discuss the science of preborn children experiencing pain during an abortion procedure. House Bill 2 and Senate Bill 1, currently considered in the Special Session of the Legislature, establish the state’s interest in protecting the lives of preborn children who feel pain.

Dr. Paul Liu, Dr. Ingrid Skop, and Dr. Greg Bonnen all speak to the behavioral and physiological evidence confirming that preborn children feel pain.

Critical care physician and pediatrician Dr. Paul Lui witnesses firsthand children born extremely premature, where there is little to no difference between his fully-birthed patients and those still in the womb.

Warrior Mothers, Miracle Daughters: China’s Battle for Life

By Sarah Elliott

For many Chinese women, keeping a daughter is a battle—and the stakes are unthinkably high.

A Chinese woman may not become pregnant without the government’s permission. Under China’s One-Child Policy, all couples must apply for a birth permit before starting a pregnancy. Nearly two-thirds of Chinese couples (more than 900 million people) may have only one child and will be issued only one birth permit in their lives. Pregnancy without a permit is illegal.

Did Wendy Davis’ Pro-Abortion Filibuster Mark a Pro-Life Tipping Point?

“When facts change, I change my mind! What do you do?”—John Keynes, British economist

Fifty years ago this August, a 30-something crusader for justice shared his magnificent “I Have a Dream” speech at the March on Washington. At that time, the most oppressed—defined as those receiving “unfair and cruel treatment by another”—group were black Americans. Today that designation belongs to pre-born Americans. In New York alone, 41 percent of pregnancies end in abortion.

24 Pro-Life Bible Verses

Human life is sacred to God. He alone is the creator of all things including human life. Scripture even tells us that we are created in the image of God. What an awesome thought.  But yet, in the world of today, man seems to feel that although we aren’t the creator of life, we can choose to selectively put our own values on life and in turn, eliminate life in certain circumstances.  God forbid!  This clearly is an affront on God and it is humankind shaking its fist at God.

Leaving Abortion in Texas – One clinic worker’s escape

An NRO Interview

Wendy Davis, the woman in pink sneakers, became an overnight celebrity after she filibustered a Texas bill that would have protected some unborn children of 20 weeks and older. She was celebrated for her stand by the president of United States, by most of the mainstream media, and by Planned Parenthood and other abortion-industry stalwarts. As the Texas legislature convenes for another special session, affording Davis more of the spotlight, abortion in the Lone Star State deserves a little sunlight.
