Your contribution to China’s One-Child Policy (Even if you didn’t know it)

Two weeks ago, the US State Department ranked China as one of the worst countries in the world for sex-trafficking, giving the one-child policy as the root cause.

This analysis is spot on. It is because of the one-child policy that Chinese parents are forced to artificially limit their childbearing. Many choose to have boys over girls. China is currently short more than 37,000,000 women as female infanticide, sex-selective abortion, and neglect have ripped through the female population.

The fetal brain and fetal pain

Testifying before a U.S. House subcommittee on May 23, Prof. Maureen L. Condic presented the scientific evidence concerning the development of the human brain and nervous system and the ability of unborn children to experience pain. Prof. Condic is a professor of neurobiology and anatomy and director of human embryology instruction at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Some excerpts from her written testimony:

Be The Next Bonhoeffer: Fight To End The American Holocaust

By Summer Hoover

I know I have quite a few pro-choice friends … well, maybe not after this.  But there has been a stirring in my heart over this.  A few months ago I began reading a book on Dietrich Bonhoeffer by Eric Metaxas. Bonhoeffer was a German pastor prior to and during the rise of Hitler.  He had a profound ability to see the truth when so many of his countrymen were feasting on a lie. Through his growing relationship with God and the growing evil (read = killing of Jews & others) around him, Bonhoeffer became a part of a conspiracy to assassinate Hitler.  For him it was the only way to save God’s chosen people and his duty as a Christ-follower.  He would be arrested, imprisoned in a concentration camp and executed, only a few weeks before the camp was liberated.

Rape, Incest & Abortion

“How can you deny an abortion to a twelve-year-old girl who is the victim of incest?” complains an indignant supporter of abortion. “And how can you call yourself a loving Christian if you would force a victim of violent rape to give birth to a rapist’s child?”

Every pro-lifer has heard these same challenges in one form or another. They are the emotionally charged questions designed to prove either 1) that pro-lifers are insensitive “fetus lovers,” 2) or ethically inconsistent, allowing abortion for some circumstances but not others.

After-Birth Abortion: Justifying Infanticide

by Rev. John A. Leies, S.M.

In one of his articles in the respected journal First Things, the late Father Richard John Neuhaus remarked, “The most consequential political event of the past half-century is the Supreme Court Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton decisions of 1973.”

These decisions, he wrote, dramatically reconfigured the nation’s cultural and political life. The moral question, he added, was not when human life begins — as the Supreme Court maintained — but at what point human life should be protected by law. Scientists know when human life begins.

Aren’t the unborn better off being aborted so they go to Heaven?

In an interview with Julia Stager, Randy Alcorn answers this question from a reader, “Aren’t unborn children better off being aborted so they can go to heaven, rather than being raised in homes where they probably won’t come to faith in Christ?”.

Do infants go to heaven when they die?

You ask a very tough question that is all the tougher because most people see it as an easy one. The teaching of the evangelical community has been 99.9% on the side of infant salvation. That’s certainly where my heart is, and after reflecting on Scripture, if I had to put money on it, I’d put it on infants going to Heaven when they die. But there are many difficulties to consider.

Supporting barbaric late-term abortions: why there can be no dissension in the pro-abortion ranks

by Jewels Green

Abortions after 20 weeks are barbaric and gruesome, like something out of a horror movie. Here is a link to a medical drawing of Dilation and Extraction late-term abortion and this is a link to a medical journal articleInduction of Fetal Demise Before Abortion (without illustrations), that describes the process of using a lethal injection–through the uterus and into the fetus–to cause death before induced labor and delivery of a dead baby.

If only Kermit Gosnell had worn pink sneakers like Wendy Davis

Imagine a parallel universe in which the media coverage of legislators’ recent efforts to pass gun control omitted any reference to last year’s slaughter of 20 children and six teachers at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

To be sure, opinions vary on these laws and their effect. But it would still be absurd if everyone writing about these new proposals chose to ignore the incident that set them off, and instead treated them by default as a completely unprompted assault on Second Amendment rights.

Inhuman: Undercover in America’s Abortion Industry – New Mexico

Live Action has released the sixth video in its latest undercover investigation, Inhuman: Undercover in America’s Abortion Industry.  The video, found at www.liveaction.org/inhuman, exposes abortion doctors at Southwestern Women’s Options in Albuquerque, New Mexico revealing disturbing aspects of the facility’s protocol, including the practice of leaving women alone in hotel rooms to deliver their dead children.

An unnamed counselor at the facility advises Live Action’s 27-week-pregnant investigator:

Inhuman: Undercover in America’s Abortion Industry – What is Human?

Live Action has unveiled the fifth video in its new investigative series, Inhuman: Undercover in America’s Abortion Industry. The video, found at www.liveaction.org/inhuman, exposes a host of abortion doctors nationwide equivocating on the humanity of the child in the womb, and then describing in graphic detail the late-term abortion procedure that would end these children’s lives.

The video features newly released recordings from Dr. Carmen Landau, of Southwest Women’s Options in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and a counselor employed at the same facility.

When asked by the Live Action investigator, “Is it a baby?,” the counselor answers:

Inhuman: Undercover in America’s Late-Term Abortion Industry – Carhart

Arlington, VA: Today, late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart is exposed, in the fourth Live Action Inhuman video, discussing the grisly details of the procedure and misleading a pregnant woman about dangers. The video also exposes Carhart’s bogus claims that “[a]ll the late abortions Carhart has done in Germantown have involved fetuses with anomalies[.]” He was perfectly willing to schedule a late-term abortion for a perfectly healthy pregnant woman and baby.

This is the fourth in a series of undercover videos, found atwww.liveaction.org/inhuman, involving the illegal and inhuman practices of late-term abortion centers, as well as describing in horrific detail what happens to the mother and baby in a late-term abortion.

Starting This Week, It’s Harder to Get an Abortion in 5 States

Abortion restrictions are popping up everywhere, it seems.

While activists and celebrities protest a bill in Texas, Ohio just enacted legislation of its own.

A thousand miles from Austin, Texas, Republican Ohio Gov. John Kasich signed new restrictions Sunday night as part of a new state budget. Ohio will soon require that women receive ultrasounds before having abortions, and the state will ban public hospitals from having written agreements with abortion clinics to receive women for further care after they have elective abortions.

Those laws won’t take effect for 90 days, according to Kasich’s office.

The Abortion Rape Exception: Look Her In The Eye

By Mike S. Adams

Author’s Note: The following column is based on a real life conversation.

Teenager: Dr. Adams, may I have a few minutes to speak with you?

Me: Sure. What is your name? (Gives name).

Teen: I enjoyed listening to your talk on abortion just a few minutes ago. Your points were solid. But I have just one problem. It’s with the rape exception. Can you honestly tell me that you could look a rape victim in the eye and tell her that she could not have an abortion – that she must take the rapist’s baby to term?

Down Syndrome

An estimated 92 percent of all women who receive a prenatal diagnosis of Down syndrome choose to terminate their pregnancies according to research reviewed by Dr. Brian Skotko, a pediatric geneticist at Children’s Hospital Boston.

Birthing trends worldwide show that women are waiting longer to have children and advanced maternal age is associated with increased risk of having a child with Down syndrome.

The number of Down Syndrome cases is declining enough in the United States to raise concerns that research funding to study the congenital condition will dry up. There’s also worry that more people will deny themselves what some call the “gift” of raising children with Down syndrome.

Pictures of aborted babies: Are they accurate?

One of the first pages that pops up on Google when you look up “abortion picture” is this blog, which presents a photo that was allegedly taken in an abortion clinic by a woman who aborted a six-week-old unborn baby. The picture, which is taken from a considerable distance away, shows what looks to the untrained eye like a jar of blood. The blog owner claims that this is a “true” picture of an abortion, and that pro-lifers’ pictures of aborted babies with hands, feet, faces, etc. are fake.

The blog accuses pro-lifers of lying:
